Jesus, lover of my soul

You captured me at my very core.
My soul and spirit cry out 
at the sight of Your greatness.
Your amazing love and mercy.

God what You out to me was so awesome,
I can't contain it.
I burst forth from my hearts depths
"How great Thou art!"
You alone inspire my soul to shout in such divine moments.
My spirit can't know the fullness of Your power and love. 
You hold my soul, spirit, heart, mind, and my all.
Oh GOD take my soul away with Your greatness.

I stand in awe and bask in Your light,
I bow in view of Your power, Oh LORD,
I lay in Your presence for Your forgiveness is so great!
You have captured my soul!

Jesus, Lover of my soul.

With a purpose and with value.

You have an eternal life,
and an image of the maker of the universe
deep inside you.
A void that longs for something more,
something of meaning.
Born grasping at straws to fill the hole.
Yet they all wash away when the smallest
of waves rolls in. 
A moment, a revelation.
There is an answer.
Our longing is not for the momentary things
in this world, it's for out eternal dwelling.
That is our purpose, to live with Him forever.
Our hearts cry out into the darkness and 
when we find the source of light it fills the hole
and no waves of this life can wash away His brightness.
He lasts beyond all the things and so do we.
We have the honor of eternal life with purpose and meaning
in the presence of the most high God. 

LORD fill my heart daily, moment by moment.
Be the light inside of me showing me my eternal place. 
Give me a sense of Your purpose for me. 
Lead me til I am before You. 
In the strong name of Jesus.
